Associate Optometrist - Tysons Corner, VA (Korean-speaking)

ASSOCIATE OPTOMETRIST | TYSONS CORNER / VIENNA, VA.

We are an established and growing ophthalmology practice in Tysons Corner, looking for an optometrist to build out our medical optometry and primary eye care service line. You'd work directly with a fellowship-trained cornea, cataract and refractive surgeon.

THE CLINICAL WORK (this is not a refraction mill):

  • Real medical optometry with glaucoma management, diabetic exams, and urgent visits
  • Cornea and other complex pathology most associates never encounter outside a residency, incl. keratoconus, cross-linking and CAIRS candidates, and transplant co-management, all alongside the surgeon
  • Advanced dry eye program with in-office tear osmolarity and MMP-9 testing
  • Cataract and refractive pre- and post-op care, including premium IOL patients
  • Specialty lens opportunity: our keratoconus population is a ready-made scleral/RGP practice if you want to build it
  • On your clinic days you run your own schedule and template with full technician support; the surgeon is always reachable but you practice independently
  • A surgeon who teaches, co-manages collaboratively, and returns patients.
THE STRUCTURE:
  • 2 to 4 days per week to start with a clear path to full time as the practice grows
  • Weekday and Saturday sessions available; start with the days that fit your current situation
  • $575 to $750 per day (daily base plus productivity bonus; providers seeing higher volumes earn well above base)
  • Independent contractor arrangement, flexible scheduling
  • Modern EMR (ModMed EMA), trained technician support, well-equipped lanes.
LOCATION: Prime Tysons Corner location in the heart of Northern Virginia, minutes off the Beltway and Route 7, easy to reach from DC, Maryland, and anywhere in NoVA.
KOREAN LANGUAGE ABILITY IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE. A large part of our patient community is Korean-speaking, and being able to care for patients in their own language matters a great deal to us and to them. Our front desk and clinical staff include Korean speakers, and a Korean-speaking OD steps into an established panel of patients from day one.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: An OD who wants to practice at the top of their license and keep getting better. New graduates with strong training are welcome. Virginia optometry license or eligibility required.
TO APPLY: Email your CV to [email protected]. We respond to every qualified applicant.
