DEADLINES
- DUES: MAY 1, IF A MEMBER BY JANUARY 31 OF CURRENT YEAR
- NEW MEMBER DUES: 5 MONTHS AFTER MEMBERSHIP ACCEPTANCE OR DECEMBER 15, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST
- $50 DISCOUNT FOR ACTIVE CATEGORY: JANUARY 31
- DUES REDUCTION REQUESTS: MARCH BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
AOA RULE: If a doctor resigns and reinstates in the same year and wishes to be credited with continuous AOA membership the O.D. must pay dues for the entire year. If a doctor reinstates in second year of lapsed membership doctor must pay entire year dues, regardless of month of reinstatement.

- Civil service dues - 50% active dues = 846.53

- Assoc member dues - 50% active dues = 428.03/VOA only
- Assoc optometric retired - 30% VOA active dues = 256.82
- Assoc optometric disabled - 30% active dues = 507.92
- Dues waiver/extensions - must request in writing for board of trustee approval
- Dues reduction (partial practice) - must use dues reduction form with society approval to present for board of trustee approval.
