Add experiencing an earthquake to the "bucket list" of Dr. Russ Beattie.  Dr. Beattie has a thriving and successful practice in Mineral, the epicenter of Virginia's recent earthquake and aftershocks.  Mineral is located halfway between Richmond and Charlottesville.  There was no harm to his office or any office staff (or their family).  Despite the earth tremble, his office experienced a paper towel holder falling off of the wall and almost all of the frames jumping from their displays to the floor.  Dr. Beattie's office advised us they would have no need to seek assistance from the AOA Disaster Relief Fund.  We were delighted to learn that Dr. Beattie, his staff, and all of their family survived this unique experience without harm.
